The short version: no accounts, no ads, no tracking without asking. Everything below is the complete list.
Casting a vote stores a one-way hash of your IP address (SHA-256, salted, truncated) for about 37 days, purely so one person is one vote per week. The raw address is never stored. Your browser also remembers your own pick in localStorage, on your device only.
The optional “why this one?” note is stored as text only - no IP, no identifier attached - and is read by a human before anything could ever be quoted.
Google Analytics runs only if you say yes to the cookie notice, with IP anonymisation on. Saying no is remembered (in localStorage) and it never asks again. Separately, Vercel’s own analytics counts page views in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying anyone.
The launches listed on this site are public Product Hunt data, read through the official API. If your launch is on the wall and you want it removed, say so and it comes down - no argument. The fastest route is a reply on the site’s own Product Hunt page or wherever you found this link.
