product that cant …make it.

The register: launches of 2019-2024.
26 confirmed dead, each checked twice.
Acquisitions are not deaths.

Every one of them had a good day once.

Each entry below launched on Product Hunt, collected its upvotes, and then stopped existing. The launch page usually outlives the product, which is how we find them.

How an entry gets in

1. It launched on Product Hunt and drew real upvotes.

2. A crawler resolves the launch link to the product's own domain and checks whether anything still answers.

3. A human opens it and confirms. Automated flags are a shortlist, never a verdict: plenty of live sites block crawlers.

4. If the company was acquired, it comes out. Getting bought is not failing.
